Purpose of this article
Scaler includes several tools and resources to help you find answers quickly and get support when you need it.
You can use the in-platform Lumi assistant, explore the Knowledge Base, or reach out to your support team.
Using Lumi (AI Assistant)
Lumi is Scaler’s built-in help assistant.
You can open it from any page by clicking the question mark icon (?) in the top navigation bar.
Lumi can:
- Explain fields, metrics, or platform features.
- Link directly to relevant Knowledge Base articles.
- Help troubleshoot common issues.
Try the below:
- Type a simple question such as “How do I upload data?” or “What is a portfolio?”
- Lumi will return short answers or open related articles directly in a sidebar.
Accessing the Knowledge Base
The Scaler Knowledge Base (KB) includes detailed articles, screenshots, and video guides.
It’s the best place to explore platform features in more depth after you’ve started using them.
You can access the KB anytime by clicking Help → Knowledge Base in the main menu.
Key sections include:
- Getting Started – introductions and onboarding materials.
- Data Collection & Input – guides for uploading and validating data.
- Analytics & Reporting – dashboards, metrics, and exports.
Contacting Support
If you can’t find what you need in Lumi or the KB, you can contact Scaler Support.
Typical contact options include:
- Email: client-services@scalerglobal.com, accessible from Knowledge Base → Contact Us
- Feedback form: accessible from Knowledge Base → Feedback
Provide as much detail as possible about your issue — such as the page name, data type, or file you’re working with — so the team can respond quickly.
Next Steps
If you’ve completed this Getting Started section, continue to the role-based checklists for quick guidance tailored to your responsibilities.
